What is the Child Care Subsidy
The Child Care Subsidy is a financial benefit claimed through Centrelink. The subsidy is paid directly to us to offset your child care fees.
How Do I get the Child Care Subsidy?
There are several factors that will affect your eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy. Some eligibility factors include:
- Min. 14% care of your child (or you care for your child at least 2 nights per fortnight)
- You are liable for Child Care fees at an approved Child Care Provider (like Gizmo’s Family Day Care)
- You meet residency requirements
- Your child meets immunisation requirements
How much will be Child Care Subsidy be?
The amount of Child Care Subsidy you are eligible for depends on a number of factors including:
- The number of hours you work
- The number of hours you study
- Temporary financial hardship
- Various other factors
